Kris Norris’s teaching career began in 2004 and she has spent her entire career at Woodland High School. She earned her BS in Secondary Math Education from Kennesaw State University, her master’s degree from Piedmont College and her Ed.S. in Curriculum and Instruction from Liberty University.
Ms. Norris teaches AP Calculus AB and BC, receiving training at Woodward Academy, Marist School, and Kennesaw State University. Ms. Norris was the WHS Teacher of the Year in 2015, a district-wide new teacher mentor for 3 years and was a conference co-presenter at the GCMT Annual Conference in 2018. She currently serves as a member of the WHS Guiding Coalition. When she isn’t working, Ms. Norris likes to play video games, watch hockey, and listen to K-Pop.
