Hi there! My name is Mr. D’Agostino, but everyone calls me “D.” I’ve been a high school teacher in Georgia since 2004.
After spending 5 years at Pebblebrook high school and 6 years at Campbell high school, I moved out to Kingston, GA and transferred to Woodland high school. Currently, I serve as the 9th grade Honors and AP Language teacher. I have been an Honors and AP teacher for 11 years. I received my 2-year Gifted certification in Cobb County and my AP Lang. and Ap Lit. certification from the Woodward Academy. I won the Mayor’s award from the City of Smyrna in 2016, was runner-up teacher-of-the-year in 2016 and received the Martin Luther King humanitarian award in 2016. I have received several teacher-of-the-month recognitions from all 3 high schools as well.
When I’m not working to make both classes as awesome as possible, serving as the SST coordinator, or helping Woodland students be as successful as possible, you can find me out in the community working on various community service projects with my Interact students. I have 2 beautiful daughters, who will both be Wildcats, and a very amazing and supportive wife. We are a Woodland family!
